AU Small Finance Bank through its CSR arm-AU Foundation is honored to sign an MoU with Government of Rajasthan to establish a Centre of Excellence for Skills and Sports Development (CESSD). The purpose of this state-of-the-art facility is to work on the ideology of serving the underserved and reaching the unreachable segments in rural and semi-urban areas towards generation of employment through Skill Development and promote Rural Sports in state of Rajasthan. This Centre (CESSD) will cater to the substantial upliftment of underprivileged children, youth and women and economically weaker section of society. Through such endeavors, we aim to generate employment opportunities and develop a distinctive sports culture while advancing our utmost commitment to a ‘Viksit Bharat’. Centre of Excellence for Skills and Sports Development will work towards: 1) Providing skill training and placement to marginalized and under privileged youth and women. Adhered to NCVET guidelines, the centre will serve as a pioneering national model for skill development, professional excellence, and employment with an aim of over 75,000 youth by 2030. 2) Uplifting sports culture and create a world class facility in Rajasthan by training more than 25,000 children and youth from rural and semi-urban locations by March 2030.
